Reflection
I learned the importance of clarity.
To understand a client’s needs, you have to ask questions. Especially coming into my first UX-specific internship, it took me a couple weeks to feel like I could contribute effectively — I had to first understand the way Visual Logic and their clients spoke to each other, how asks were generated, and the relationship during delivery of an ask. Working closely with clients was undeniably informative, and having a brilliant team through Visual Logic meant I learned the delicacy of high-level information and how to deliver across a long, established timeline.
